Molly Rhodes, LCSW-C

MollyHi, I’m Molly.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington College, a Master’s in Social Work from Salisbury University and am a certified yoga instructor.

My focus is working with adolescents and adults dealing with problems related to depression, anxiety, relationship and family stress, grief/loss, trauma, self-esteem, stress and life transitions. I also specialize in working with Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs).

I have years of experience working with adults, families, children and adolescents in outpatient, community and school settings. I’ve facilitated an Intensive Outpatient program for treating struggles with substance use.

True healing involves the whole person.

My approach to therapy is holistic and focuses on connecting mind, body and spirit.

As a clinician, I believe you are your expert, and everyone has a healer within them. My approach is to assist individuals in getting to know their inner healers to break free from trauma cycles and reclaim a sense of empowerment.

As a trained trauma therapist, I ask, “What happened and what strengths helped you through?” versus asking, “What is wrong?”

When working with me, you will experience a client-centered approach that offers a safe, compassionate and nonjudgmental space in which you feel heard and validated.

Therapist, heal thyself.

Practicing what one preaches is essential for a therapist. Therefore, I am committed to caring for mind, body and soul.

Providing care for myself allows me to hold a healthy and energized space for you. I look forward to our work together.

“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.”
