Cynthia Prud’homme, LMSW

Be WellHi! I’m Cyndi.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than twenty-five years of experience working with adults, elderly, couples, adolescents and families. I have been working in Easton since 2009. Previously, I have worked in NYC and Philadelphia. I am a graduate of Loyola University (BBA) and of Rutgers University (MSW) where my focus area was Health, Mental Health and Aging.

Over the past 25 years, I have gained experience helping individuals, caregivers, couples and families learn how to cope with a variety of issues including adjustment disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, vision loss, brain health, stress, cognitive impairment, bullying, and chronic disease self-management. I have also supported employees dealing with work-related stress and have assisted military service members and their families to adjust to the stress of military life, PTSD, and challenges of multiple deployments.

Healing takes a village.

As a therapist, I find great joy in helping my clients learn to adjust to and overcome life’s challenges by putting themselves, their marriages, their families and their health on their own to-do lists. I firmly believe in the goodness of others and that all people are capable of change and that each of us can bounce back from difficult times.

In therapy I work collaboratively with clients to create unique roadmaps identifying the areas of their lives that may be slowing them down or obstructing their paths to becoming the person they were meant to be. I help clients accomplish this by using techniques and tools drawn from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including: CBT, DBT, parts work, ACT, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and mindfulness.

While the methods may change, my desire to help clients remains the same. My purpose is to help clients revitalize their spirits so they can step into their true nature and move gracefully and more harmoniously through the world.

I love to read historical fiction and must admit I’ve sacrificed many hours of sleep staying up to finish a good book or an informative or juicy podcast.

I live in Easton with my husband, our two teenagers and our two cats. I love to travel but spend most of my vacation time these days traveling to FL and TX to visit family.
