Hi! I’m Jessica…
As long as I can remember, I have had a passion for helping others. Little did I know that this enthusiasm would allow me to become a Therapist. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern University, and later pursued my master’s in Counseling at The University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
As a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and school counselor, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective mental health support. I’ve spent nearly a decade working with children, adolescents, and adults, specifically specializing in working with those individuals who experience depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, body image issues, and low self-esteem. With a strong educational foundation and professional experience, I am committed to helping others navigate their personal challenges and achieve emotional well-being. I am particularly fascinated by continuously seeking to expand knowledge in the area of trauma.
I prioritize our relationship.
Helping individuals achieve balance and happiness within themselves is my goal. Bt sticking to collaborative person-centered approach, I help you overcome obstacles standing in the way of your best self. This often includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices.
I believe everyone deserves a safe and healing environment to navigate life’s challenges.
Fun Facts About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and dogs, reading, traveling, and soaking up the sun at the beach. You can find me at a concert most weekends. I most recently have started hiking because it allows me to find a refreshing escape into nature throughout the busyness of life.
